I am going to be racing a couple half marathons over the winter to prepare for my first HIM next May. My first one is in October. It's the Daytona Beach Half Marathon. I did this last year and it was a great event. Last year was the inaugural race and it was very well organized and went well. I hope to better my 2:07 of last year and come in under 2:00. I am now getting into the double digit practice runs and now I remember why I hate running long distances. I usually train alone and it gets very boring running for more than an hour by myself. Oh well I'll keep posting new information.
